To get rid of a remembered tile:

• Select Forget Tile from the tile menu. See Tile Menus for details.

Tiles for open applications don’t disappear when you forget them. They just turn into automatic tiles.

Automatic tiles don’t have a Forget Tile menu item because they cannot be deleted deliberately. They will disappear by themselves when their application exits.
